Delamode Nidd Ltd a successful Transport and Logistics Company are seeking a International Freight Forwarding Apprentice. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a long term career within the logistics and transport industry.
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic logistics team. This paid apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in global shipping and supply chain management. The successful candidate will support the coordination of international freight operations, develop knowledge of customs regulations, and assist with client relations. This role is ideal for individuals eager to build a career in logistics, transportation management, and supply chain solutions within a fast\-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating time\-critical transport movements across road, air, and sea
- Learning customs procedures to support the smooth movement of goods
- Developing an understanding of sales pricing, cost management, and profitability
- Communicating with clients, suppliers, and transport contractors
- Delivering outstanding customer service in a fast\-paced environment
- Confident and professional in communication
- Organised and able to manage tasks effectively
- Comfortable using IT systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Able to workwell in a team environment
- Positive, enthusiastic and willing to learn
