About the Role
As an MFS Field Service Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering maintenance, technical support, and supervision for both aeroderivative and heavy\-duty gas turbines. You will be involved in installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing gas turbines at customer facilities across the globe — both onshore and offshore.
Depending on the project scope, you may also take responsibility for coordinating and supervising contracted crews on site, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest technical standards.
You will start your journey with comprehensive training and coaching at our headquarters in the Netherlands, complemented by hands\-on guidance from experienced colleagues in the field. This combination of structured training and practical learning reflects how MFS develops its engineers and builds long\-term expertise.
After completing your training period, you can expect to spend approximately 70% of your time working internationally. When you are not traveling or working on\-site, you will be based in our workshop in Heteren, collaborating with colleagues and preparing for upcoming assignments.

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Aviation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar technical field.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, piping, and instrumentation drawings (preferred).
- Good English communication skills (spoken and written); additional languages are a plus.
- Living in the Netherlands or willing and able to relocate to the Netherlands.
- Valid European driving license.
- Experience in the gas turbine industry or another technical field is an advantage.
