International Business Development & Operations Manager

Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and commercially focused International Business Development \& Operations Manager to support the continued growth of the business across UK, European, and international markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing commercial opportunities, managing client relationships, supporting warehouse and fulfilment operations, and assisting with international trade and logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and manage new business opportunities within customs clearance, logistics, freight forwarding, and fulfilment sectors.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, suppliers, and commercial partners.
· Support communication and coordination with Chinese\-speaking clients and overseas stakeholders.
· Assist with warehouse and fulfilment operations to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
· Monitor and improve operational processes using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
· Coordinate with internal departments to support customs clearance and logistics activities.
· Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, reports, and operational updates.
· Support strategic business growth initiatives across UK and international markets.
· Maintain knowledge of market trends, international trade regulations, and supply chain developments.
· Ensure compliance with company procedures, UK employment standards, and operational policies.
Person Specification \& Requirements
· Degree in International Trade or a related discipline.
· Degree in Human Resources Management, Leadership, Business Management, or related field preferred.
· Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English; French language skills are advantageous.
· Previous experience in warehouse operations, fulfilment, or logistics management.
· Practical knowledge and experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
· Strong understanding of international trade, logistics, customs procedures, and supply chain operations.
· Excellent communication, organisational, leadership, and negotiation skills.
· Ability to manage both commercial development and operational responsibilities effectively.
· Strong problem\-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business systems.
· Full UK driving licence preferred.

- Job Type: Full\-time, Permanent
- Primary Office Location: Unit 7C, Old Park Trading Estate, Old Park Road, Wednesbury, England, WS10 9LR.
- Work Location: Flexible / multi\-site role including travel to client, warehouse, and operational locations as required
- Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience and qualifications
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, with flexibility based on business and operational requirements.
