Internal Sales Executive
Location: Inverness
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

Our client, a leading distributor of industrial products and engineering supplies, is looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive to join their Inverness branch.

The Role
As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play a key role in supporting customers, generating sales opportunities and helping to drive branch performance. Working closely with colleagues, suppliers and customers, you will ensure enquiries are handled efficiently while delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting quotations via email and telephone
- Responding to customer enquiries and providing product support
- Proactively following up quotations and enquiries to maximise sales opportunities
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers
- Tracking customer orders and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Processing sales orders and maintaining accurate customer records
- Supporting customer visits and relationship-building activities when required
- Delivering a high standard of customer service at all times
- Contributing to the overall growth and success of the branch
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous customer service, sales support or internal sales experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A positive, proactive and enthusiastic attitude
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- A results-driven approach and willingness to learn
- Confidence working in a customer-focused environment
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Experience within engineering, industrial distribution, MRO, manufacturing or technical products
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Competitive salary of £26,000 - £27,000
