Internal Sales Executive
Salary: £29,000
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00
Location: Bradley Stoke
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong communication and sales skills to contribute to a successful business while developing their career within a supportive and professional environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, generating quotations, processing sales orders, and building strong relationships with both new and existing customers. You will play a key role in driving sales growth while ensuring exceptional customer service at every stage of the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
- Generate and follow up on quotations to maximise sales opportunities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to encourage repeat business
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services
- Liaise with internal departments including Administration, Warehouse and Operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment
- Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems
- Assist with sales reporting and general sales administration duties
- Manage customer queries, complaints and returns promptly to ensure customer satisfaction
- Support the wider sales team in achieving departmental targets
- Previous experience in an Internal Sales, Sales Support, Customer Service or Sales Administration role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer-focused approach with a passion for delivering outstanding service
- Ability to build rapport and develop long-term customer relationships
- Good IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Experience of CRM systems would be advantageous but is not essential
