We are pleased to announce that we are now recruiting for an Internal Sales Adviser to join our team, to help grow our business, and whose values align with what we do. The role would be 39 hours a week, Monday\-Friday, with a competitive salary, at the Southern Tapes and Packaging Headquarters on Forge Hill, Co. Cork.

The Candidate

Candidates in this position should:

• Have excellent verbal and written communications skills and possess an excellent phone manner.


• Have the ability to multi\-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively.


• Be self\-motivated and prepared to be flexible when the occasion demands.


• Be numerate and IT literate.


• Be familiar with best practice office procedure including cash handling, telephone techniques and general reception duties.

The Role

The chosen candidate would be expected to:

• Work off their own initiative as well as take incoming and outgoing calls in the office and manage email correspondence.


• Take on and manage an internal project; running it from beginning to end. Take initiative in the running of the project, and ensure the Sales Manager is updated as necessary.


• Remain knowledgeable on all products offered.


• Team up with co\-workers to ensure proper supplier/customer service.


• Build long term trustful relationships with customers.


• Manage sales orders and ensure all orders are on time as scheduled.


• To deal with telephone calls/queries in an efficient and professional manner.


• To communicate professionally and effectively with staff, customers, clients and suppliers.


• To operate procedures for security of cash/cheques in accordance with the policies and procedures set down by the Company.


• To participate in any training courses as determined by the Company.
