The Intern HR Controlling \& Data Management supports the Corporate HR Controlling \& Data Management team with a strong focus on HR reporting, data analysis, and dashboard preparation. The role contributes to the creation of standardized reports, management dashboards, and data\-driven insights that support HR and business decision\-making across the PHOENIX group. Working closely with the team, the intern gains hands\-on experience in reporting processes, analytics, and data visualization.
We are looking for an Intern (m/f/d) – HR Controlling \& Data Management, starting as soon as possible, for our headquarters in Mannheim.
Your Tasks
- Support the preparation and consolidation of monthly and quarterly HR reports
- Assist in maintaining and improving standard reporting templates and dashboards
- Prepare and validate HR datasets, including data extraction, cleaning, and basic quality checks
- Support the creation of management presentations and KPI\-based summaries
- Perform basic data analysis (e.g. trends, variances) and prepare results for reporting and visualization
- Assist in building and enhancing data visualizations and dashboards
- Contribute to optimization and partial automation of reporting processes
Your Profile
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program (e.g. HR, Business Administration, Economics, Controlling) with focus on HR topics
- First relevant professional experience is an advantage
- Structured, reliable, and detail\-oriented working style
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Analytical mindset with strong affinity for numbers and data
