*We are currently looking for a* *Interim Manager* *to join the team in* *Petten* *Expected duration:* *until March 2027**.*

As an interim manager, you are expected to perform managerial duties leading a team of about 35 professionals, and carry out a reorganization process. Together with the team, you will work on impactful R\&D projects in the field of solar energy and its integration into our living environment and the electricity grid. You provide a pleasant and motivating working environment where all colleagues can show their talent. You also contribute to the strategy, give direction to propositions and include colleagues in this.

Main responsibilities
-------------------------

As part of the management team, you will help determine the direction and goals of the unit. You will usually work from Petten, but you will also regularly visit the locations in Eindhoven and Rijswijk to optimise cooperation with other related teams.

By working together with industry and academia, you ensure that innovations you work on are in line with what society needs. In addition, you will connect your team with the rest of the unit and contribute to the further development of our goals.

You actively listen to all colleagues from the team and the division and discuss strategy, knowledge development, market trends and personal growth together. With your constructive feedback, they can get to work in concrete terms. And you motivate them with your genuine interest, both in the work and in the people. You promote a pleasant and inspiring working environment, where everyone can be themselves and trust each other.

You also ensure that the high\-tech infrastructure works efficiently and you carefully monitor the progress of projects.

Requirements
----------------

• A completed MSc or PhD in natural sciences or a related field.


• Minimum of 7 years of experience leading teams and fostering collaborations in a complex high\-tech R\&D environment.


• Good command of English and preferably also Dutch (or you are motivated to learn this quickly).
