Interim Head of Service – All Age Commissioning

Duration: 3–4 months (initial)

Location: Hybrid – 1–2 days per week on site

Rate: Negotiable (Via Umbrella, Inside IR35)

This is a key interim leadership role providing cover following the resignation of the permanent postholder. The Council requires immediate support to maintain continuity across all-age commissioning services and provide stability following a recent restructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee all-age commissioning services

  • Ensure continuity of delivery and team performance

  • Drive key programmes, including supported living and commissioning frameworks

  • Support and guide the team through transition

  • Maintain clear priorities across commissioning activity
