Intensive Care Nurse - Band 5 & 6 - Coventry
<p>Pulse Nursing is looking for skilled and experienced band 5 and 6 registered ITU (INTENSIVE CARE UNIT) nurses to join our team in Coventry.</p>

<p>In this current opportunity, you'll enjoy the flexibility to plan ahead by booking shifts in advance, giving you greater control over your schedule. We offer various shift patterns, including full-time equivalent hours in Coventry, with competitive pay ranging from £20.00 to £30.70 per hour.</p>
<p>Intensive Care Nurse responsibilities include:</p>
<ul>
<li>Plan, implement and evaluate care</li>
<li>Assist patients with their activities of daily living</li>
<li>Regular assessment and monitoring of patient’s vital signs</li>
<li>Perform different types of observations and use of different monitoring systems</li>
<li>Use and ensure working function of varied medical equipment such as ventilators, infusions pumps, feeding pumps, monitors</li>
<li>Administer medication via different routes</li>
<li>Care for patient receiving invasive and non-invasive ventilation</li>
<li>Recognize patient deterioration and timely escalation of care</li>
<li>Communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team, patients, and relatives</li>
<li>Work as part of a team</li>
<li>Make appropriate referrals and Prepare patient for discharge or transfer</li>
<li>Keep accurate and timely patient records and follow local policies and procedures.</li>

<p>To be considered for this role you will need to have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Valid NMC registration</li>
<li>At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience within the ITU Sector</li>
<li>Ability to provide a clinical reference as well as covering the last three years of employment.</li>
<li>Able to provide an enhanced DBS or documents to apply for one.</li>
<li>Right to work within the UK – proof will be required.</li>
