The UCL Institute for Liver \& Digestive Health is a major academic centre within the clinical consortium UCL\-Partners (UCLP). We are one of the most international clinical research hubs in the world. Our aim is to develop and implement an extensive network of clinical excellence in North\-East London. We are based at the Royal Free campus in Rowland Hill Street, Hampstead. We are also a major education site in Liver and Digestive Medicine. We provide training for UCL medical students, specialist registrars, graduate students, and post\-doctoral fellows from all over the world. Most of our academic and clinical activities are currently based at the Royal Free Campus in Hampstead, one of the UK’s largest Foundation NHS Trusts.

About the role
------------------

The position is based in the UCL Institute for Liver Digestive Health on the Royal Free Campus with the primary role to proactively support the day to day function of the Institute with the aim of delivering excellence in research and education. The post holder will provide high level administrative support to the Scientific and Clinical Diractor and to other senior Professorial staff within the Institute. He/She will support the academics with their day\-to\-day managerial and administrative duties, as relating to their research and teaching responsibilities at UCL. This post is permanent and it is not suitable for UCL sponsorship.

About you
-------------

The post holder will provide high level administrative support. You will also: \- Act as a Personal Assistant to the Scientific and Clinical Director taking full responsibility for diary management, the scheduling of events and meetings, arranging itineraries and travel arrangements to UK and overseas conferences and meetings, \- be responsible for maintaining the Institute’s website; ensuring that the website has up\-to\-date information on staff, publications, grants, seminars and links to other departments. Establish and manage ILDH social media profiles, \- maintain an awareness and observation of Fire and Health \& Safety Regulations. The post holder will carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the line manager. This job description reflects the present requirements of the post, and as duties and responsibilities change/develop, the job description will be reviewed and be subject to amendment in consultation with the post holder. \- be educated to A level standard, or equivalent, or having acquired equivalent senior administrative experience, \- have substantial experience of providing a high quality HR admin support.
