The Opportunity
In this varied and mobile role, you will carry out the inspection, testing and certification of height safety and access equipment at client sites across the UK. You’ll liaise directly with customers, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and help maintain the highest levels of safety in the industry. You’ll receive excellent training, ongoing manufacturer certifications and support for career progression.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Inspection, testing and recertification of flexible lifeline systems and fall protection assets
- Retesting and certification of access equipment including fixed ladders, plant access and bespoke fabrications
- Completing reports, compliance documentation and customer sign\-off
- Working professionally on live client sites, often as the responsible site representative
- Advising clients on system condition and remedial requirements
- Supporting trainee engineers and sharing best practice
Essential
- Strong knowledge of height safety and anchor systems to BS EN 795 \& BS 7883
- Experience of access inspections to BS 4211 \& EN ISO 14122
- Current manufacturer certification for flexible anchor line installation/inspection
- Previous experience inspecting or installing height safety or access equipment
- Confident communicator with good literacy and numeracy
- High attention to detail, punctual, professional and safety\-driven
- Full clean driving licence
- Willing to travel and work away when required
- Fabrication surveying experience
- SMSTS, Confined Space or multi\-site experience
- Stable, permanent employment with a respected safety specialist

Pay: £35,000\.00\-£40,000\.00 per year
