Installation Engineer

Job Description:

We’re on the hunt for a motivated, hands\-on Installation Engineer to join our growing engineering team.

This role is field\-based and involves installing coffee machines, water coolers, and boiling/chilled water dispensers at customer sites across London and the surrounding areas.

You’ll play an important role in delivering a professional installation experience for our customers, ensuring all equipment is installed safely, set up correctly, and customers are fully trained on how to use it.

This is a customer\-facing role, so professionalism, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential.

• Salary of £35,000 \- £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

You’ll work independently in the field installing equipment such as:

• Coffee machines


• Water coolers


• Hot \& cold\-water dispensers


• Boiling and chilled water systems

Duties include installation, commissioning, basic setup, and customer training. You will also ensure all equipment is left in excellent working order and that customers are confident using their machines. In addition to this you will be required to assist other engineers and carry out other tasks including PPM visits as and when required to do so.

Qualifications and Skills:

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience installing equipment or working in a field engineering role (preferred)


• Is practical and enjoys hands\-on work


• Is reliable and takes pride in doing a good job


• Has strong problem\-solving skills


• Has good communication and customer service skills


• Can work independently and manage their schedule effectively


• Holds a full UK driving licence


• Be reliable and prepared to work extra hours where necessary to get a job completed to the satisfaction of the customer and the company’s reputation.


• Self\-sufficient management of spare parts stock holding in Service Van


• Be a good team player, set an example that others can follow


• Respect and uphold the Company’s values and pursue the Company’s goals


• Flexible and adaptable to new ideas and continual improvement within the business

Although experience is preferred, the applicant who demonstrates the best attitude and potential for the role will be considered and given training as relevant.
