Inside Sales Representative
Location: Leicester
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 (flexibility required)

Main Purpose of the Role:
Watling JCB is seeking two highly driven and results\-focused Inside Sales Representatives to join our growing Sales Team based at our Leicester Head Office.
This is a high\-activity, performance\-led sales role suited to individuals who are confident in making outbound calls, managing inbound enquiries at pace, and converting opportunities into sales. This is not an entry\-level position—we are looking for experienced sales professionals who thrive in a target\-driven environment and are comfortable managing a high volume of customer interactions daily.

Key Responsibilities:
The Inside Sales Representative will be responsible for generating and converting sales opportunities through both inbound and outbound activity, including:
Sales \& Lead Management
- Responding to all inbound enquiries within 1 hour of receipt
- Ensuring all opportunities are responded to within 2 working hours
- Making initial customer contact within 1 working day
- Understanding and validating customer requirements quickly and effectively
- Generating and issuing a minimum of 2 quotes per day
- Conducting high\-volume outbound prospecting calls
- Achieving a minimum of 20 connected calls per day, including follow\-ups
- Self\-generating leads through:
- Social media activity
- Facebook Marketplace selling
- Maintaining and enriching the customer database
- Using CRM systems effectively to track, manage, and progress opportunities
- Managing online inventory listings and ensuring accuracy
- Supporting the generation of Google reviews and customer engagement
· Proven experience in a high\-volume sales or contact centre environment
· Backgrounds particularly suited to:
· Automotive sales
· Insurance / Financial Services
· Estate agency
· Contact centre / telesales roles
This role requires a high level of energy, discipline, and accountability. Success will come from consistent activity, strong follow\-up, and a proactive approach to generating new business.
