PTP Netherlands is a freight forwarding company located in Capelle aan den IJssel. With a worldwide network of sister offices and a select group of overseas agents, we provide comprehensive logistics services at the 2PL, 3PL, and 4PL levels to our customers. We are looking for an Inside Sales Representative who can generate new business and maintain strong client relationships in the logistics sector. You understand customer needs, offer effective logistics solutions, and ensure profitability. Strong communication, professionalism, stress resistance, and solid logistics knowledge are essential.

As our Inside Sales Representative, you will:

  • Generate new business by identifying opportunities and approaching potential clients.

  • Maintain and grow existing accounts through proactive communication and strong relationship management.

  • Understand customer needs and translate them into effective logistics solutions.

  • Prepare and negotiate quotations and follow up to secure profitable deals.

  • Collaborate with operations to ensure smooth handling of shipments and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor market developments to spot new opportunities and stay competitive.
Who are you:
  • Logistics knowledge — Understanding of basic logistics processes and operational workflows.

  • Good knowledge of English and Chinese, both spoken and written. Dutch is a plus.

  • Excel proficiency — Confident working with numbers, spreadsheets, and data tables.

  • Data analysis skills — Capable of interpreting data and preparing simple reports.

  • CRM experience — Familiar with customer relationship management tools.

  • Negotiation \& persuasion — Able to influence decisions and secure favorable outcomes.

  • Lead qualification — Skilled in identifying and assessing potential business opportunities.

  • Adaptability — Quick to learn new systems, processes, and market changes.

  • Problem‑solving ability — Handles challenges with practical, effective solutions.

  • A gross monthly salary between €2700 and €3500 based on a 40‑hour workweek (depending on education and experience).
