The Role…
The Infrastructure Engineering Manager will be responsible for the management of a team of Infrastructure Engineers (network, server and cloud combined) and management of supplier relationships alongside the Group Head of Infrastructure. The global Infrastructure team at Soho House is responsible for designing, building, deploying and maintaining the network and security Infrastructure for Soho House and its associated fascia’s (Soho Restaurants, Soho Works, Retail, The Ned, Scorpios, The Line, The Saguaro and Soho House & Co overall). 
This is a management role and requires a mix of technical knowledge, team management, project management and reporting experience.
The role will be based at the London Support Office (180 Strand, Temple, London WC2R 1EA) with a minimum of 4 days on site; reporting directly to the Group Head of Infrastructure and Cyber Security with whom they will work with to ensure we keep a high security and Infrastructure posture throughout all Soho House & Co entities, properties and systems. The role will be roughly 50% business as usual and 50% project based.
Responsibilities..
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Resource/vendor management for Infrastructure contractors and agencies</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure Infrastructure projects are delivered successfully, on time and on-budget by all Infrastructure engineers, contractors and agencies</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Line Management for Infrastructure Engineers</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Working with an Infrastructure project manager; ensure progress of all Infrastructure projects are clearly documented and communicated to stakeholders</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Review, approve and cross charge invoices for Infrastructure contractors, agencies and suppliers (Hardware, software/licensing and professional services)</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Make technical decisions and resolve technical blockers for various projects and issues with Infrastructure engineers, contractors and agencies</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Be technically knowledgeable across various parts of Infrastructure (network, server, cloud, security) whom engineers, contractors and agencies could look up to</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Where appropriately permitting; get involved with and assist:
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Putting together network bill of materials and scoping of new house openings and refurbishments projects</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Configuration and maintenance of Infrastructure (network, server, cloud, security)</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Carrying out projects including implementing of new network, server, cloud and security tools/functionality globally without disrupting business operations</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Remediate vulnerabilities for all internal and external facing networks</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Facilitate remediation of internal and external vulnerabilities with third parties where applicable</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure new and existing Infrastructure is documented</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure handover of new Infrastructure to in-house team and third-party managed service providers</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure third-party managed service providers and internal Infrastructure resources are managing Infrastructure support according to their responsibilities and SLAs</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure third-party managed service providers have appropriate knowledge to support our Infrastructure and in case there is a lack; upskilling happens by providing knowledge internally available to us</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Research, test, procure and implementation of new technologies and products to meet business requirements and improve way of working</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ensure administration work including change requests, updating and managing Infrastructure/security support tickets are carried out</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Carry out due diligence on third party works carried out to ensure all Infrastructure and security requirements are met (Resilience, best practises and security)</li>
<li style="font-size: 12pt;">Co-ordinate quarterly on-site visits to review Infrastructure</li>
</ul>
