<h3><strong>Position Description</strong></h3></div><p> </p>
<p class="isSelectedEnd">ENSCO is seeking an Information Security Intern to support day-to-day cybersecurity operations. The role will primarily assist with internal SOC activities as ENSCO expands its in-house monitoring and response capabilities, while also supporting compliance, vulnerability management, security tickets, general InfoSec operations, and IT Help Desk activities as needed.</p>
<p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul data-spread="false">
<li>Assist with Tier 1 SOC alert monitoring, triage, documentation, and escalation.</li>
<li>Support security incident and phishing investigations.</li>
<li>Assist with vulnerability tracking and remediation follow-up.</li>
<li>Work InfoSec help desk and security-related tickets.</li>
<li>Provide support to the IT Help Desk as necessary, including basic troubleshooting, user support, and ticket resolution.</li>
<li>Support CMMC, NIST SP 800-171, and other compliance activities, including evidence collection and documentation.</li>
<li>Help maintain security procedures, playbooks, reports, and operational documentation.</li>
<li>Support general cybersecurity projects and day-to-day InfoSec operations.</li>
</ul>
<p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Qualifications Required:</strong></p>
<ul data-spread="false">
<li>Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.</li>
<li>Basic understanding of networking, Windows, cybersecurity, and incident response concepts.</li>
<li>Strong analytical, communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.</li>
<li>Ability to handle sensitive information appropriately.</li>
</ul>
<p class="isSelectedEnd"><strong>Qualifications Desired:</strong></p>
<ul data-spread="false">
<li>Exposure to Splunk/SIEM, EDR, Microsoft 365/Entra ID, Tenable, CMMC/NIST frameworks, and/or PowerShell/Python</li>
<li>CompTIA Security+.</li>
</ul>
