Information Governance Administrator | Hybrid role!
Information Governance Administrator Location: Canterbury/Hybrid
Salary: £14ph to £16ph
Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday
Are you detail-driven, highly organised, and confident handling sensitive information? We're looking for an Information Governance (IG) Administrator to join our clients team and play a key role in ensuring robust data protection and compliance across the organisation.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in Subject Access Requests (SARs) or wider IG administration-particularly within a regulated or healthcare environment-who thrives in a structured, process-led role.
Key Responsibilities In this role, you will support and strengthen our clients Information Governance function by:
- Managing Subject Access Requests (SARs) end-to-end, including logging, tracking, coordinating internal responses, and supporting disclosure.
- Supporting wider IG administrative activity, such as handling data subject requests, maintaining IG logs, and general compliance tasks.
- Liaising with internal teams-including clinical, operational, and data teams-to gather information and ensure requests are processed efficiently.
- Assisting with redaction, preparing disclosure packs, and ensuring high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Maintaining trackers, monitoring deadlines, and ensuring statutory timeframes are consistently met.
- Helping bring structure and consistency to IG processes, including maintaining logs, preparing agendas and meeting papers, minute taking, and tracking actions.
- Experience handling SARs and/or IG administration in a regulated environment (healthcare experience highly desirable).
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple time-bound cases.
- Confidence working across teams and managing sensitive or confidential information.
- Ideally, practical experience with redaction, data handling processes, or information governance frameworks.
- A proactive, process-focused mindset, with the ability to bring order and consistency to complex workflows.
