About the Role
We are seeking an Industrial Vision \& Data Engineer to join our growing automation team. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing machine vision solutions, analyzing production data, and implementing software tools that improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, and operational performance.
This position combines industrial automation, computer vision, software development, and data analytics to support the digital transformation of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine vision applications for industrial environments.
- Configure and optimize vision systems for inspection, quality control, measurement, identification, and traceability.
- Develop software applications and data\-processing tools using Python and/or JavaScript.
- Collect, process, and analyze production and machine data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Integrate vision systems with PLCs, SCADA, MES, and other industrial automation platforms.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support operational decision\-making.
- Collaborate with automation engineers, software developers, and production teams to deliver innovative Industry 4\.0 solutions.
- Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities both remotely and on\-site.
- Contribute to the development of digitalization and smart manufacturing initiatives.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Mechatronics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with industrial machine vision systems and image\-processing technologies.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of computer vision libraries
- Experience in data analysis, data visualization, and statistical evaluation.
- Understanding of industrial manufacturing processes and automation systems.
- Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
- Professional English.
- Experience with AI or machine learning applications for industrial environments.
- Familiarity with vision platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL databases and industrial data architectures.
- Experience with dashboarding tools such as Power BI, Grafana, or Tableau.
- Understanding of PLCs, OPC UA, MQTT, MES, or SCADA systems.
- Experience in Industry 4\.0 and digital transformation projects.
