About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Sewing Machinist to join a busy manufacturing team in Portsmouth. This is a hands-on role working with industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality stitched products to specification.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating industrial sewing machines to produce stitched components


• Following production patterns and quality standards


• Stitching heavy-duty fabrics such as canvas and marine textiles


• Maintaining a clean and safe work area


• Meeting daily production targets

What We're Looking For • Previous industrial sewing machinist experience is essential

• Ability to work accurately and at pace


• Ability to sew long, straight seams in heavy fabrics


• Good attention to detail


• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
