Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an Industrial Electrical Engineer to join our expanding team.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking to develop their skills within industrial maintenance and electro\-mechanical engineering.
The role offers a varied workload, including electrical fault finding, maintenance, installations and breakdown response on a wide range of industrial plant and equipment. You will work on motors, control panels, conveyors, pumps, process machinery and three\-phase electrical systems across customer sites throughout East Anglia.
In addition to site\-based work, you will have the opportunity to gain experience within our mechanical overhaul workshop, developing valuable knowledge of electric motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings and other rotating equipment.
No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys problem solving and wants to expand their engineering skillset beyond traditional electrical installation work.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical fault finding and repair of industrial plant and equipment.
- Planned preventative maintenance and servicing.
- Installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Working on motors, pumps, control panels and conveyors.
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
- Assisting with emergency breakdown response.
- Assisting with the overhaul, inspection and repair of electric motors, pumps, gearboxes and other rotating equipment within our workshop.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- City \& Guilds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good understanding of electrical fault finding.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Industrial electrical maintenance.
- Three\-phase systems and motor controls.
- Manufacturing, quarry, recycling or processing plant environments.
- Experience reading control panel drawings and schematics.
- Mechanical aptitude or an interest in industrial machinery and equipment.

Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
