Industrial Door Engineers Mate/ Improver Fitter

BGID are looking for an improver industrial door engineer/ mate to expand our team. Candidate must have experience in installing, servicing and repairing a variety of door and shutter systems. An ideal role for someone looking to move forward in their career with further training and progression opportunities available.

Having been in the door business 52 years, BGID have earnt a prestigious reputation in domestic and industrial doors, working alongside major construction firms and high street names to deliver high quality products and service across the UK.

BGID provides a genuine 24/7 emergency call out service nationwide therefore overtime is always available, with early starts and late finishes, so flexibility is required. This callout service is fulfilled on a rota system with engineers knowing the days they are working in advance.

A full clean driving licence is essential.

Qualifications such as UKATA Asbestos Awareness, IPAF, PASMA etc are also desirable.

Pay: Hourly rate dependant on experience, may be more than advertised for a highly qualified candidate. Overtime rate paid at 1\.5 x and 2x on bank holidays with time traveling to and from jobs paid as well.

Pay: £14\.00\-£15\.00 per hour
