Industrial Door & Automatic Door Engineer £17.00 - £19.00 per hour | Full-Time | Permanent

We are recruiting for an experienced Industrial Door & Automatic Door Engineer to join a well-established specialist engineering business covering the North West, with occasional travel further afield.

• Overtime paid at time and a half for call-outs and double time after midnight and weekends

Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

The Role You'll carry out service, maintenance and repair work on:

• Industrial doors and shutters


• Automatic doors


• Gates and barriers

Responsibilities include:

• Planned maintenance and reactive repairs


• Fault finding and diagnostics


• Completing service reports


• Automation upgrades and retrofit work


• Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard

The role is approximately:

• 70% Industrial Doors & Shutters


• 25% Automatic Doors


• 5% Gates & Barriers

About You • Experience working on industrial doors, shutters, automatic doors, gates or barriers

• Strong fault-finding and repair skills


• Good understanding of automated systems


• Able to work independently and as part of a team


• Full UK driving licence
