We are expanding our offering by launching an exciting, highly visual small\-plates menu focusing on trendy Bao Buns, Modern Indian Tapas, and Indo\-Chinese street food. We have a large, fully equipped kitchen that is ready for a talented chef to make their own. The Role:
We are looking for a passionate, organised, and creative chef to launch and run our new food operation. This role is an excellent opportunity for a talented Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie looking to step up into their first Head Chef position. You will be responsible for the day\-to\-day running of the kitchen, managing prep schedules, maintaining high hygiene standards, and ensuring every single dish looks absolutely spectacular ("Instagram\-ready") before it leaves the pass. Because this is initially a small plates concept, your focus will be on efficient daytime batch prep so that evening service is fast, consistent, and smooth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daytime batch prep (sauces, slow\-cooked fillings, marinades) for our small plates menu.
- Lead evening service, ensuring fast ticket times and beautiful plate presentation.
- Manage stock control, ordering, and kitchen wastage to maintain healthy food margins.
- Maintain impeccable food safety, hygiene, and allergen logs (HACCP).
- Work alongside the bar owner to refine and evolve the menu based on customer feedback.
- Proven kitchen experience at a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie level.
- Experience with or a passion for Asian, Indian, or street\-food concepts is highly desirable.
- An eye for modern, beautiful food presentation.
- Strong organizational skills to manage prep efficiently for a Tuesday–Saturday schedule.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 or 3 certification.
- Excellent work\-life balance with Sundays and Mondays guaranteed off.
