Role Overview \& Expectations:
As an In\-House Trainer at CareYourWay Chester, you will be responsible for delivering high\-quality training to our home care employees, ensuring they are well\-prepared to provide exceptional care. You will focus on conducting training sessions, ensuring training standards are within line of national care regulations whilst supporting employees with ongoing development.
Training Delivery: Conduct effective training sessions for new and existing home care staff, covering essential topics such as care standards, health and safety, and company policies. This will include theory and practical training.
Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they receive comprehensive initial training to integrate smoothly into their roles.
Assessment and Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training through evaluations and feedback, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring staff competency.
Compliance: Ensure all training is conducted in accordance with regulatory standards, maintaining up\-to\-date records of staff training and certifications.
Continuous Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff, helping them apply training concepts in their daily work and promoting a culture of continuous learning.
Training Records Management: Keep accurate records of training sessions, participant attendance, and certification statuses, ensuring all documentation is current and accessible.
Collaboration: Work closely with management and care teams to understand specific training needs and deliver relevant programs accordingly, as well as client\-specific training where needed.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from trainees and managers to refine training delivery and address any issues or gaps in knowledge.
This role requires a dedicated trainer with a strong understanding of home care practices and a commitment to developing employees to uphold high standards of care. If you are passionate about delivering effective training and supporting development, we’d love to hear from you.
Compliance: Ensure HR practices comply with company policies and relevant labour laws, maintaining a high level of regulatory compliance. As well as supervisions.
Reporting: Prepare and maintain HR reports, tracking key metrics such as employee turnover, attendance, and performance review outcomes.
Legal Documentation: Prepare and manage legal documentation related to employment, such as contracts, disciplinary actions, and termination papers, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
