Salary: £46,743 per annum.
Band: UKRI Band E.
Contract Type: Fixed Term (Until March 2030\).
Hours: Full\-time/ Part Time (minimum 0\.8 FTE) (flexible working available).
Location: Polaris House, Swindon, Wiltshire \- Hybrid working available.

About the Role
The Impact Manager will play a central role in strengthening UKRI’s ability to understand, evidence, articulate and monitor the benefits arising from the R\&D Missions Accelerator Programme (R\&D MAP) and related investments. Working between the MRC Evaluation and Analysis Team and R\&D MAP Health mission, the postholder will lead the design, coordination and support delivery of monitoring and evaluation activities that inform strategic decision making and demonstrate the value and reach of the health mission.

Personal Specification
The below criteria will be scored during Shortlisting (S), Interview (I) or both (S\&I).
Essential
- Experience in research management, evaluation, benefits management, or continuous improvement. Experience of evaluation of real world evidence in a clinical setting would be advantageous (S/I).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to determine and measure outputs and outcomes (I).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication and influencing skills (I).
- Understanding of current trends in health research and care delivery in the NHS and UK research funding ecosystem. Insight into trends in dementia and mental health would be advantageous (S/I).
