About CPMS
Working throughout the UK rail network, CPMS provides a diverse range of services including Station platform construction, maintenance and refurbishment works. We also undertake bridgeworks, station roofs and canopies. Building maintenance and refurbishment is carried out in stations, depots, signal boxes, lineside buildings, arches, carparks and roadways. We currently undertake PPM and reactive maintenance tasks as well as Civil and HVAC works and M\&E services. Our clients include Network Rail, Train Operating Companies, Freight Operating Companies, Heritage Railways and Light Rail.
About the Role
We are looking for a HVAC Project Manager to join our M\&E Projects team, based at our head office in Elderslie.
In this role, you will support the successful design and delivery of HVAC and mechanical building services projects, from initial planning and technical coordination through to installation and completion.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, planning, and delivery of HVAC and mechanical building services projects.
- Coordinate technical information between clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Assist with project planning, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Monitor project progress and help ensure timescales and quality standards are achieved.
- Identify and resolve technical and operational issues throughout project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
- Experience managing multi\-disciplinary projects interfacing between Mechanical, BMS, Electrical, fire alarms and other engineering disciplines.
- Mechanical engineering HND, or Equivalent qualification.
- Experience in mechanical building services and HVAC projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems and associated building services.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem\-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within project deadlines.
- Experience coordinating with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- A practical, safety\-conscious approach to engineering and project delivery.
- Experience working within the rail industry would be beneficial.
