HV/MV Substation Civil Works Engineer

At Boslan, part of Accenture, we are a benchmark in Engineering and Consulting services, supporting end\-to\-end development of complex projects worldwide. You will join the T\&D Substations team within the Generation and Networks Unit, working on HV/MV substation civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of detailed civil engineering for HV/MV electrical substations (earthworks and volumes, roads, drainage, ducts, foundations, buildings, etc.).


• Design and layout of HV/MV electrical substations.


• Review of civil engineering for HV/MV electrical substations.


• Drafting and review of terms of reference and technical specifications for the civil works associated with the construction of HV/MV substations.


• Preparation of foundation, drainage, and related calculations for HV/MV electrical substations.


• Preparation of foundation and structural calculations for the control building of HV/MV electrical substations.


• Technical support to the client regarding the design and execution of civil works in HV/MV electrical substations.


• Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Technical Engineering, or Technical Architecture.


• At least 3 years of experience in civil works for HV/MV electrical substations, including civil design and engineering calculations.


• Knowledge of Spanish construction regulations applicable to substation projects is a plus.


• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D.


• Solid working knowledge of BIM tools (Revit, Navisworks) and ProjectWise Engineer.


• Practical experience with CYPE and Civil 3D.


• Fluent in Portuguese \& English; Spanish is a plus.


• Experience with QGIS/GvSIG or basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, fire protection, or electromechanical systems) is valued.


• Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills, with the ability to work autonomously within multidisciplinary teams.


• Good organizational skills, adaptability, and ability to manage multiple technical tasks simultaneously.
