As our organisation continues to grow, we are seeking to appoint an experienced Human Resources Manager (Human Resources \& Industrial Relations) to become an integral member of our senior leadership team.
This is not simply an HR administration role.
It is a strategic leadership position responsible for developing, managing and continuously improving the Human Resources function across the organisation.
The successful candidate will work directly with the Nominated Individual / Licence Holder and senior management team, supporting business growth, workforce planning, organisational development and employment compliance.

Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of Human Resources including:
Human Resources Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
- Advise the Nominated Individual / Licence Holder and management team on HR matters.
- Develop HR policies, procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Support organisational development and workforce planning.
- Produce HR reports and workforce performance information.
- Develop employee engagement and staff retention initiatives.
- Promote a positive workplace culture.
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle.
- Prepare job descriptions and person specifications.
- Advertise vacancies.
- Coordinate interviews and candidate selection.
- Conduct pre\-employment checks including references, DBS and Right to Work verification.
- Prepare employment contracts and offer documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes.
- Develop succession planning strategies.
- Manage disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management procedures.
- Conduct workplace investigations.
- Prepare investigation reports.
- Support managers during formal HR meetings.
- Resolve employee relations matters professionally and confidentially.
- Ensure compliance with UK Employment Law.
- Draft and review employment contracts.
- Develop HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate personnel records.
- Monitor HR compliance throughout the organisation.
- Maintain GDPR compliance.
- Support internal audits and inspections.
- Ensure HR documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Support payroll preparation.
- Monitor attendance, overtime and annual leave records.
- Assist managers with rota planning.
- Maintain HR systems and employee databases.
- Produce workforce reports and HR analysis.
- Coordinate staff induction.
- Monitor mandatory training compliance.
- Identify staff development requirements.
- Support annual appraisal and performance review processes.
- Promote continuous professional development throughout the organisation.
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Minimum 10 years' progressive Human Resources experience.
- Degree in Human Resources, Labour Welfare, Employment Relations, Business Management, Law (LLB) or another relevant qualification.
- CIPD Level 5 qualification or currently studying towards CIPD Level 5 is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Employment Law principles and HR best practice.
- Experience managing recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
- Experience preparing employment contracts and HR documentation.
- Experience managing disciplinary, grievance and employee relations matters.
- Payroll administration and workforce management experience.
- Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
