About the Role
Law Lane Solicitors is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Human Resources team for a three\-month internship programme. This role is ideal for an individual looking to gain practical exposure to HR operations within a professional legal environment.
The successful candidate will support day\-to\-day HR administration, recruitment coordination, onboarding processes, compliance records, and employee documentation while gaining hands\-on experience across various HR functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with HR administration and maintaining employee records.
- Supporting recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication.
- Assisting with onboarding and induction arrangements for new starters, apprentices, and work experience candidates.
- Preparing HR documents, letters, templates, and maintaining filing systems.
- Assisting with attendance, holiday, and leave record administration.
- Supporting compliance\-related HR documentation and personnel file management.
- Assisting with staff training coordination and internal communications.
- Supporting the HR team with policy updates and administrative tasks.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling information in accordance with company policies and data protection requirements.
- Providing general administrative support to the HR department as required.
- Interest in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a professional office environment.
- Practical hands\-on HR experience within a legal environment.
- Exposure to recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee administration.
- Experience working alongside HR and senior management teams.
- Professional workplace exposure and mentorship.
- A reference and certificate of completion (subject to satisfactory performance).
