Job Title: HR Intern (3\-Month Internship)

Reporting To: HR Manager / Practice Management Team

About the Role

Law Lane Solicitors is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic HR Intern to join our Human Resources team for a three\-month internship programme. This role is ideal for an individual looking to gain practical exposure to HR operations within a professional legal environment.

The successful candidate will support day\-to\-day HR administration, recruitment coordination, onboarding processes, compliance records, and employee documentation while gaining hands\-on experience across various HR functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with HR administration and maintaining employee records.

  • Supporting recruitment activities, including scheduling interviews and candidate communication.

  • Assisting with onboarding and induction arrangements for new starters, apprentices, and work experience candidates.

  • Preparing HR documents, letters, templates, and maintaining filing systems.

  • Assisting with attendance, holiday, and leave record administration.

  • Supporting compliance\-related HR documentation and personnel file management.

  • Assisting with staff training coordination and internal communications.

  • Supporting the HR team with policy updates and administrative tasks.

  • Maintaining confidentiality and handling information in accordance with company policies and data protection requirements.

  • Providing general administrative support to the HR department as required.
Skills \& Requirements
  • Interest in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field.

  • Good communication and organisational skills.

  • Professional attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Good attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to work in a professional office environment.
