HRBP
We’re looking for a HR BP to join us on a full\-time basis, working 35 hours per week. We understand the importance of work\-life balance, which is why we offer a flexible working arrangement, including flexitime. Our core hours are 10:00am to 4:00pm, with the flexibility to start your day anytime between 8:00am and 10:00am and finish between 4:00pm and 6:00pm—allowing you to structure your working day in a way that best suits your lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities
To support the People Director in the delivery of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) by actively shaping organisational culture, ensuring compliance with employment law and people policies, leading effective employee relations, and delivering people initiatives aligned to the wider people strategy.
- Partner with the People Director to support the development and implementation of people strategies, policies, and initiatives aligned to organisational objectives.
- Provide high\-quality, pragmatic HR advice and guidance to employees and managers on a broad range of people matters, ensuring alignment with current employment legislation and internal policies.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally sound outcomes.
- Review, maintain, and update people policies and documentation to ensure ongoing compliance with employment law and organisational standards.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and regulatory requirements, including GDPR, and oversee the accuracy and currency of contracts of employment and associated documentation.
- Support and coach managers in performance management processes, including the development of performance improvement plans and the drafting of relevant correspondence.
- Support organisational change initiatives, providing guidance to managers and employees to enable effective adoption of new structures, processes, and systems.
- Contribute to the review and evaluation of employee benefits, including benchmarking against market practice and analysing employee feedback to ensure competitiveness and alignment with organisational goals.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of the organisation’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) strategy.
- Act as a culture ambassador, supporting engagement initiatives such as engagement surveys and contributing to culture\-shaping projects and assignments.
- Represent the People function professionally, acting as an ambassador for Project One both internally and externally, as appropriate.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the People Team as required to ensure effective service delivery.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the People Director or a member of the senior management team.
- Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar HR role.
- Ability to align HR practices with business goals and contribute to shaping the wider business strategy.
- Confidence in working with business leaders and managers to address workforce challenges effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to engage clearly and professionally.
- Skilled in identifying key stakeholders, understanding their needs, and building trust through transparent communication and collaboration.
- A thoughtful approach to employee wellbeing, with a strong commitment to confidentiality.
- A genuine desire to work as part of a supportive and high\-performing team.
- Familiarity with digital tools and technologies that enhance HR practices and drive efficiency.
