About the job:
In this role you will be responsible for running, motivating and developing a team of HR professionals. You will oversee the office and day-to-day management of the team and support, coach and mentor team members and ensure that they hit company targets.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Delivering quality and performance KPI’s and ensuring they are met
- Conducting 1-1’s to maintain an awareness of all staffing matters and performance issues
- Building and maintaining an effective, cohesive and motivated team
- Providing leadership to colleagues and peers
- Promoting awareness of the business’ services
- Forming and maintaining strong working relationships with other areas of the business
- Providing effective support and coaching to the team
- Attending daily morning meetings with the senior leadership team and implementing strategies to ensure a strong performance
- Conducting disciplinaries, grievances etc. where necessary in line with the Employee Handbook
- Keeping the Head of Operations up to date with all staff issues along with pending or proposed courses of action
- Training new and existing members of the team
- Driving the growth and success of the team
- Handling any escalated complaints and taking necessary action
- Monitoring and reviewing performance of team members on a daily basis and providing a detailed daily report to the Head of Operations
- Working with other managers to ensure everyone is supported and service levels are achieved
- Assisting in recruitment drives and interviews to ensure staffing levels are maintained
- Considering how the business can attract more clients in Scotland
- Working with marketing to promote the business in communications and social media
- Any other tasks deemed necessary
- Previous experience managing a team of more than 15 people is essential
- Excellent knowledge of and hands on experience with HR processes and procedures is essential
- Can-do attitude with the ability to drive, motivate and support others
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Strong organisation and time management skills

- Previous experience dealing with complaints through to resolution

- Annual salary up £50,000 dependent on experience
- Monday to Friday, 9am—5pm
