HR Operations Coordinator

We are at an exciting point of evolution in how our HR Operations function operates at Ian Macleod Distillers Ltd. We are reviewing and reshaping our administration, systems, operational data and processes to create a support model that is smarter, more insight\-led and genuinely impactful, while remaining efficient, optimised and commercially focused.
This is not your standard HR administration role! A solid grounding in HR policies, practices and employee lifecycle processes is essential. We are looking for someone who can bring that HR knowledge together with curiosity, problem\-solving and a genuine passion for continuous improvement.
You will be a proactive and tenacious self\-starter who thrives on a challenge, with impressive attention to detail and a natural curiosity about how and why things work. You will enjoy getting into the detail, understanding where data, systems or workflows are not working as effectively as they could, and taking the initiative to improve them. You will not be afraid to ask questions, challenge existing ways of working constructively and look for smarter, simpler and more effective solutions.
Alongside delivering high\-quality employee lifecycle support, you will play a key role in strengthening our HR processes, improving the quality and integrity of our people data and making the best use of our systems and insights. Ultimately, we are looking for someone who understands the foundations of good HR practice but is excited by the opportunity to help us evolve what great HR Operations looks like.
What you'll be doing:
?? Delivering high\-quality HR admin support across all aspects of the full employee lifecycle
?? Taking ownership and resolution of admin related queries and issues
?? Working confidently with HR systems and data, ensuring accuracy and integrity
?? Producing and working with people related data and reports, spotting trends, highlighting key insights
??Identifying process inefficiencies, helping implement practical improvements
??Collaborating with colleagues to continuously enhance how the business operates
What we are looking for:
?? Experience in an administrative and customer service environment (essential) and a shared services type environment (desirable)
??Confidence working with people systems and data, with strong attention to detail
??Someone who naturally looks for ways to improve processes and systems, not just maintain them
??Strong problem\-solving skills and a proactive mindset
??A team player who enjoys working collaboratively and building strong relationships

This is a full\-time role, working 5 days and based in our head office in Broxburn, West Lothian.
