Royal Brinkman is a leading international supplier to the professional horticultural sector, helping growers improve their businesses through innovative products, specialist knowledge and practical solutions.
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead HR activities across our UK business. This is a rare opportunity for a senior HR professional seeking a flexible, part\-time role with genuine influence and responsibility.
Reporting directly to the UK Director, you will be the trusted HR partner for our UK operation, supporting over 30 employees and working closely with the management team. You'll have the freedom to shape and drive the UK HR agenda while benefiting from the support and expertise of our international HR team.
What you'll be doing
- Providing trusted HR advice and support to managers and leaders
- Leading recruitment, onboarding and employee development activities
- Managing employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with UK employment law
- Supporting performance management, engagement and talent development initiatives
- Coaching managers to strengthen leadership and people management capability
- Developing and improving HR policies, processes and projects
- Helping build a positive, inclusive and high\-performing workplace culture
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or above (Level 7 preferred)
- Strong and up\-to\-date knowledge of UK employment law
- Experience in an HR Manager, HR Business Partner or similar senior HR role
- Confidence handling employee relations matters independently
- Excellent communication, coaching and relationship\-building skills
- A pragmatic, commercially minded and people\-focused approach
- Flexible part\-time hours (16–20 hours per week)
- Flexible working pattern across 3–4 days per week
- Significant autonomy and ownership of the UK HR agenda
- Direct access to senior leadership and business decision\-making
- Support from an established international HR function in the Netherlands
