HR Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive part\-time/self\-employed HR Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong management capabilities, excellent communication skills, and extensive experience with HRIS systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our HR strategies, optimise employee engagement, and ensure compliance with employment legislation. The HR Manager will be instrumental in fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting organisational growth through effective HR practices.

Duties

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organisational goals, including talent acquisition, retention, and development programmes.


• Oversee employee onboarding, training, and development initiatives to enhance workforce capabilities.


• Supervise HR team members and coordinate HR activities across departments to ensure consistency and efficiency.


• Ensure compliance with employment laws and organisational policies through regular audits and updates.


• Conduct presentations on HR policies, organisational changes, or training sessions for staff at all levels.


• Manage performance appraisal processes and support management in implementing employee development plans.

• Proven management skills with previous supervising experience in a human resources setting.


• Strong understanding of human resources principles, employment legislation, and best practices.


• Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—with the ability to present complex information clearly.


• Organisational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and reporting tasks.


• Ability to lead training sessions or presentations confidently across diverse audiences.
