About Gourmet Food Parlour
------------------------------

Gourmet Food Parlour is an Irish\-owned restaurant and catering business, proudly established for over 20 years.

We've grown a lot over the years and today have a mix of standalone restaurants across Meath, Galway and Dublin, catering divisions in Dublin and Galway, and onsite restaurants within Brown Thomas and Arnotts. Alongside our restaurants and catering teams, we have our main Head Office in Santry, our catering Head Office in Dublin, and a number of support functions including Finance, Operations, Marketing, Maintenance and Reservations.

It's an exciting time to be part of GFP. We're continuing to grow and develop the business, and our people are a huge part of that. With so many different areas of the business, there's plenty going on and no two days are really the same.

Our HR function is well established, with an experienced HR team supporting the wider business. HR is highly respected within our senior management team, and our expertise and judgement are valued. We're trusted to work autonomously and independently, while working closely with the wider leadership team and managers across the business.

This is a role where HR genuinely has a voice. You'll have the opportunity to bring your own experience and ideas, work closely with senior leaders and managers, and help shape how our people and HR function continue to develop as GFP grows.

We're proud of what we've built over the last 20 years, and we're looking for someone who wants to be part of the next stage of that journey.

About the Role
------------------

We're looking for an experienced and commercially minded HR Manager to lead the HR function across Gourmet Food Parlour, supported by an established HR team made up of an HR Generalist and HR Administrator.

This is a hands\-on and varied role supporting our restaurant, catering, client\-site and support office teams. You'll work closely with the Managing Director, senior management team and managers across the business, as well as Operations, Finance, Marketing and our wider support functions.

The role has a strong focus on employee relations, employment law, manager support, compliance, recruitment and people development. You'll be trusted to provide clear, practical advice, manage more complex employee matters and help managers make good people decisions.

You'll also have plenty of opportunity to get involved beyond the day\-to\-day HR function. GFP is an open\-minded and well\-structured business, and if you have an idea or see something that could be done better, you'll have the opportunity to bring it forward and help make it happen. With the business continuing to grow, there are lots of exciting projects and opportunities to get involved in and lead.

Most importantly, this is a fun place to work. We have genuinely great people across the business, strong relationships between teams and a senior management team that values and respects HR.

You'll have the support of an established HR team, while also having the autonomy to bring your own experience, ideas and approach to the role and make it your own.
