We are seeking a proactive and experienced HR Manager to join our growing team in London.
This role will be responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting managers and employees while ensuring smooth day\-to\-day HR operations across the business.
As we work closely with both UK and Chinese\-speaking clients and team members, fluency in both English and Mandarin is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment \& Talent Acquisition
- Manage end\-to\-end recruitment processes across multiple departments
- Draft and publish job advertisements on relevant recruitment platforms
- Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on hiring requirements
- Conduct HR interviews and coordinate interview processes with hiring managers
- Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment process
- Support offer preparation and hiring decisions
- Manage onboarding processes for employees, interns, and freelancers
- Coordinate employment contracts, NDAs, and onboarding documentation with legal and management teams
- Conduct Right to Work checks and maintain accurate employee records
- Coordinate induction sessions and training arrangements
- Manage offboarding procedures and exit documentation
- Coordinate probation reviews and performance review processes
- Support managers in addressing performance concerns and employee development discussions
- Assist with disciplinary and grievance procedures where required
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters
- Promote a positive and professional working environment
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation
- Ensure HR processes comply with UK employment regulations and company policies
- Support leave, absence, and other employee administration processes
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Work closely with management, legal, and finance teams on HR\-related matters
- Support continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience
- Assist with internal HR initiatives, training coordination, and people\-related projects
- Contribute to building efficient and scalable HR practices as the company grows
Essential
- 3\+ years of HR experience within the UK
- Experience managing the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment through to performance management and employee relations
- Strong understanding of UK employment practices and HR processes
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment
- Proactive, professional, and highly organised approach to work
- Experience working in a marketing, media, agency, or creative environment
- Experience supporting multicultural and international teams
- Familiarity with UK Right to Work requirements and onboarding procedures
- CIPD qualification (or working towards one)
