We're looking for an experienced and dedicated HR professional to join our team and help shape and lead our people strategy.
Job Purpose
As the Human Resources Lead, you'll provide both strategic and hands\-on support, driving initiatives that enhance employee experience, support business goals, and uphold our values. Based at our Reading office, you'll bring your HR expertise to both tactical and strategic levels of the business. Hybrid working is available. This is a pivotal role for a CIPD Level 5\-qualified HR professional with a passion for supporting and developing people.
Key Responsibilities
- Culture and Engagement: Foster a culture that reflects our values and promotes a positive work environment where every team member feels valued and motivated.
- HR Strategy and Partnership: Partner with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the organisations goals, covering areas such as wellbeing, recruitment, and performance management.
- Team Development: Mentor and support the HR and Payroll team, providing guidance on day\-to\-day operations and people administration.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first line of support for departmental heads, offering expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance cases, performance management, and organisational change, ensuring alignment with company policy and UK employment law.
- Document Management: Draft, maintain, and update key HR documents such as contracts, handbooks, letters, and guidance and policy documents across all areas of HR.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Create and update HR policies, toolkits, and guidance documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Data and Reporting: Gather, analyse, and report on HR data to support decision\-making, enhance people processes, and drive improvements.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in HR projects across various areas, including onboarding, training, performance reviews, restructuring, organisational change, and salary benchmarking.
- 37\.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Part Time applications will be considered, minimum 3 days per week.
- Flexibility may be required to meet business needs.
£34,081 \- £42,601 per annum pro rata, dependent on experience.
