HR Generalist – 12 months FTC

Key responsibilities:
- Working with the People Director and People team to shape and drive and open, positive culture
- Support and conduct investigation meetings, disciplinary, PIP, appeals, witness statements and any other ER related tasks that may be asked
- Support and conduct investigation meeting ie lateness, high absenteeism
- Managing the full AWOL process
- Managing the full sick leave process
- Managing the HR workshops and MiWelcome Training
- Completing statement of service letters, sick leave letters, PPSN letters
- Assisting with Kefron uploads
- Assisting in taking meeting minutes for investigation meetings, disciplinary, PIP, appeals, witness statements and any other ER related tasks that may be asked
- Helping the HR team when staff are on annual leave and when workload increases for the team e.g. with recruitment, admin tasks, set up for Mi\-Welcome, posting letters etc.
- Assist with various HR projects
- Conduct exit interviews
- Assisting the Wellbeing initiative ie monthly initiatives, projects, wellbeing days etc
- Full ownership of the company benefit MiDeals portal
- Support HR and Operations teams during Transfer of Undertakings (TUPE)
- Prepare and issue Management Information to the Mitie business and provide guidance to management on HR statistics and other required data
- To be flexible and carry out other duties as required
- An experienced HR professional with at least 2 years experience
- Strong knowledge HR best practice
- Knowledge of NI legislation would be a benefit but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken and able to develop positive working relationships across all levels and functions.
- Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload and meet deadlines.
- Fluency in English.
- Full driving licence and own transport is essential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Great attention to detail.
