HR Data Analyst
People Data Analyst | Fixed Term Contract
Location: Leeds
Salary: £40,000
Contract: Fixed Term (37 hours)
We’re working with a large, complex organisation who are looking for a People Data Analyst to join their team on a fixed-term basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data in a people-focused environment, turning multiple sources of information into clear, meaningful insight that supports better decision-making across the business.
You’ll work closely with HR and wider business stakeholders, bringing together data from a range of systems and translating it into accessible dashboards, reports, and analysis that help teams understand performance, trends, and areas for improvement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analysing workforce and business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Designing and maintaining dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking using Power BI, Tableau, SQL, and Excel
- Presenting data in a clear and simple way for non-technical audiences
- Supporting stakeholders to interpret and use data effectively in decision-making
- Ensuring accuracy, consistency, and strong data quality across reporting outputs
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, including automation and efficiency gains
- Experience in a HR Data Analyst or similar role
- Strong skills in Power BI, Tableau, SQL and/or Excel
- Ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
- A collaborative approach and interest in continuous improvement
