The role

At Gentoo Media, we believe that our people are the heart of our success. We are seeking a highly organized and detail\-oriented HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our HR Team and assist in various functions, including onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining employee records, and ensuring smooth operation within the HR department.

This is a flexible student role with strong learning potential \- 15\-20 hours a week.

What you'll be doing


  • Overseeing the complete employee life cycle, ensuring a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new team members and a respectful departure process for existing employees.

  • Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date employee records, including personal information, attendance, leaves, and performance evaluations.

  • Drafting and updating contracts as requested.

  • Manage and uphold the work permit process to ensure compliance and timely submissions.

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

  • Assist payroll department in ensuring timely monthly processing with relevant employee information.

  • Coordinate induction sessions for new hires on a rotating basis, ensuring they are well\-informed and integrated into the company culture.

  • Participate in HR projects.

  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department, Employees and Managers.

Who we're looking for


  • Previous experience in Human Resources would be considered a plus.

  • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or related field.

  • Fluency in English and Danish languages is required.

  • High energy, self\-driven and a positive ‘People\-first’ attitude.

  • Creative, resilient and resourceful

  • Strong prioritisation skills.

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
