HR Coordinator
Position Title: HR Coordinator
Reports to: Group HR Manager
Position Summary
Working closely with the HR Advisors and wider People Services team, the HR Coordinator will provide support across the full employee lifecycle, with a particular focus on Employee Relations administration, case management, HR compliance, HR systems and people administration.
The role will play a key part in supporting managers and employees with people-related matters, ensuring a professional, timely and customer-focused HR service whilst providing an excellent opportunity to develop a career within Human Resources.

Employee Relations
- Act as a first point of contact for HR and Employee Relations queries from managers and employees.
- Respond to queries relating to absence, sickness, disciplinary, grievance, appeals and other people matters.
- Provide guidance on straightforward HR and Employee Relations matters within agreed procedures.
- Support managers by signposting policies, guidance and employee relations processes.
- Monitor active Employee Relations cases, ensuring key actions, review dates and deadlines are managed effectively.
- Prepare employee relations documentation including invitations, outcome letters, meeting packs and supporting correspondence.
- Coordinate Employee Relations meetings including investigations, welfare meetings, disciplinary hearings, grievances and appeals.
- Monitor Employee Relations trends and employee concerns, identifying themes and escalating potential risks appropriately.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, HR documentation and Employee Relations case files.
- Support HR Advisors with escalated cases across the Group.
- Support right-to-work checks and ensure compliance records are accurately maintained.
- Prepare contracts of employment, contractual amendments and employment-related correspondence.
- Process employee lifecycle changes including promotions, salary reviews, transfers and changes to working arrangements.
- Support employee engagement, wellbeing and retention initiatives.
- Ensure all employees receive a professional and consistent HR experience.
- Support the People Services department and wider central functions with ad hoc administrative and project work as required.
- Previous experience within an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, People Services or HR support position.
- Experience supporting Employee Relations cases.
- Understanding of HR processes and Employee Relations principles.
- Experience maintaining records and centralised systems.
- Experience within healthcare, recruitment or similar service-led sectors.
- Professional, approachable and people-focused.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively on both an independent and collaborative basis.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with stakeholders at all levels.
