HR Business Partner - TUPE
Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a large, well-respected charity in Northamptonshire to recruit two HR Advisors on a fixed-term basis for up to four months.
These are excellent opportunities for HR professionals with strong experience in TUPE and organisational change to play a key role in supporting a significant change programme within a values-driven organisation that makes a real difference to people's lives.
The Role Working closely with HR Business Partners and senior stakeholders, you will support the delivery of organisational change initiatives, including redundancy consultation processes and TUPE activity, ensuring all activities are delivered in line with employment legislation, organisational policy and best practice.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting organisational change programmes, including redundancy consultations and TUPE processes.
- Coordinating consultation schedules, employee briefings and individual consultation meetings.
- Attending and supporting one-to-one consultation meetings with managers and employees.
- Preparing and reviewing consultation documentation, outcome letters and redundancy packs.
- Validating employee data and ensuring accuracy throughout change processes.
- Reviewing personnel files and employment records to support decision-making.
- Supporting TUPE consultation meetings and ensuring clear communication with affected employees.
- Managing employee queries throughout consultation periods, providing timely and empathetic advice.
- Maintaining accurate records and audit trails to minimise organisational risk.
- Identifying and escalating employee relations issues where appropriate.
- Supporting post-consultation activities, including notice issuance and employee exits.
- Providing occasional support for meetings involving night shift employees (with TOIL provided).
- Previous experience supporting organisational change, restructures, redundancy consultations and/or TUPE transfers.
- Strong understanding of UK employment law and employee relations practices.
- Experience managing sensitive employee conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling employee data and documentation.
- Confidence working with stakeholders at all levels.
