The HR Business Partner – Talent \& Organization plays a key role in supporting Waterleau’s growth by attracting the right talent and partnering with business leaders on people\-related topics.
Recruitment is an important part of the role, ensuring that Waterleau attracts and hires high\-quality technical and corporate talent across its international activities. In addition, you act as a trusted HR partner to managers, supporting organizational development, employee relations, and key HR initiatives.
This role combines hands\-on recruitment ownership with broader HR business partnering responsibilities, allowing you to directly contribute to building strong teams and a sustainable organization.
Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition \& Workforce Planning
- Partner with the CHRO and business leaders to anticipate hiring needs and translate business priorities into recruitment plans.
- Lead the full recruitment cycle, from role definition and sourcing to selection and onboarding.
- Develop effective sourcing strategies to attract engineering and corporate talent.
- Ensure a consistent and professional recruitment approach across Waterleau’s international entities.
- Support onboarding processes to ensure a strong start for new hires.
- Work closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and candidate profiles.
- Deliver a high\-quality candidate experience through transparent communication and efficient coordination.
- Manage job postings, LinkedIn sourcing, and collaborate with marketing to strengthen visibility in the talent market.
- Represent Waterleau at career events and networking opportunities.
- Contribute to strengthening Waterleau’s employer brand and talent positioning.
- Ensure consistent and professional HR and recruitment processes across Waterleau’s international entities.
- Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and ensure accurate HR data and reporting.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of key HR processes such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, frameworks, and tools across the organization.
- Use HR data and insights to identify trends, improve processes, and support informed decision\-making.
- Develop a strong understanding of Waterleau’s business, projects, and organizational challenges.
- Act as a trusted HR partner for managers, advising on team structures, role evolution, and people\-related challenges.
- Support organizational changes, internal mobility, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Contribute to HR processes such as onboarding frameworks, development initiatives, and employee well\-being programs.
- Support healthy employee relations and contribute to constructive social dialogue where relevant.
- Participate in HR projects and support their implementation across the organization and international entities.

Profile
- Proven experience in full\-cycle recruitment, ideally for engineering or technical profiles.
- Solid understanding of broader HR topics such as organizational development, employee relations, or HR projects.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with managers and stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset combined with a hands\-on and pragmatic approach.
- Experience working in an international or project\-driven environment is an asset.
- Fluency in Dutch and English, French is a plus.
