HR Advisor

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join our team based in Cirencester. This pivotal role will provide expert employee relations support to our field-based managers, ensuring people matters are handled fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and best practice.

Our HR Advisor will be:

• Advising and supporting managers across the organisation on all things employee relations including performance, engagement, absence, welfare, capability and whistleblowing


• Managing complex employee relation cases, including safeguarding, with confidence and care


• First point of contact for general HR enquiries via phone and shared inbox


• Ensuring accurate HR record-keeping and administering documentation like contracts, variations and references


• Ensuring consistent, fair application of HR policies and best practices


• Collaborating on exciting HR projects and policy improvements


• Partnering with other departments across the organisation to support the delivery of onboarding, talent development, management upskilling and offboarding

Our HR Advisor will have:

• Proven experience working in an HR Advisor role


• Proven experience of confidently managing complex ER cases, ideally including safeguarding


• A CIPD qualification, ideally level 5 or willingness to work towards


• Strong demonstrable application and knowledge of UK employment law


• Confidence in supporting, coaching and advising Managers in HR best practice, with the ability to challenge and influence constructively


• Comfortable working independently and adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving environment, valuing a solutions-focused approach

We’ll be offering our HR Advisor:

• A competitive salary of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum (depending on experience)
