HR Advisor - Employee Relations
Flexjet is seeking a proactive and people\-focused Employee Relations Advisor to join our team in Farnborough. Working as part of a collaborative HR function, you will play a key role in supporting managers and employees across a broad range of people\-related matters, with a particular focus on employee relations. You will provide practical HR guidance, help resolve workplace issues, ensure employment practices are applied fairly and consistently, and contribute to an outstanding employee experience that reflects the premium standards of the Flexjet brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted first point of contact for managers and employees, providing advice and support across a broad range of HR and employee relations matters.
- Support the management of employee relations cases, including absence management, performance, disciplinary, grievance, conduct, and wellbeing\-related matters.
- Conduct and support investigations, fact\-finding exercises, and formal HR processes, ensuring documentation is accurate, thorough, and compliant.
- Provide practical and commercially focused guidance to managers on people matters, helping to drive consistent and effective decision\-making.
- Support formal meetings and hearings, including the preparation of documentation, correspondence, and outcome letters.
- Monitor and manage employee relations cases, ensuring accurate records are maintained, actions are completed, and deadlines are met.
- Assist with the review, development, and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and employee documentation.
- Contribute to wider HR initiatives and projects, including employee engagement, wellbeing, learning and development, and continuous improvement activities.
- Previous experience in an HR Advisory, Employee Relations, HR Generalist, or People Partnering role, with exposure to managing a broad range of workplace and employee relations matters.
- Good understanding of UK employment law, employee relations principles, HR best practice, performance management, disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and workplace investigations.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, with experience managing confidential information, maintaining accurate records, and handling multiple priorities within a fast\-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence managers and employees at all levels of the organisation.
- CIPD Level 3 or Level 5 qualified (or working towards qualification) and proficient in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems, particularly in adapting, adopting and learning new software, systems and processes
