About us :

A prestigious 5\-star boutique hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge is seeking a capable and well\-organised HR Administrator to support its people function across a team of approximately 65 employees.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong HR administration experience who enjoys working in a high\-quality hospitality environment where attention to detail, professionalism and discretion are essential.

The Role

Working closely with senior management and external HR support, you will help ensure that the hotel’s HR processes run smoothly, consistently and in line with employment law and best practice.

The role will cover a broad range of HR administration and employee support duties, with a particular focus on onboarding, HR documentation and providing practical support on technical employment law and employee relations matters.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Managing the employee onboarding process from offer stage through to start date.

  • Preparing offer letters, contracts, starter packs and new employee documentation.

  • Completing right to work checks and ensuring all employee records are accurate and compliant.

  • Maintaining HR files, employee data and absence records.

  • Supporting managers with HR queries relating to contracts, policies, probation, absence, conduct and performance.

  • Assisting with technical employment law issues by gathering information, preparing documentation and liaising with external HR advisers where required.

  • Supporting probation reviews, return\-to\-work processes and employee correspondence.

  • Helping ensure HR policies and procedures are followed consistently across the hotel.

  • Providing general administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including changes to terms, leavers and references.

  • Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or similar role.

  • Good working knowledge of UK HR processes and employment law basics.

  • Confidence supporting managers with HR administration and employee documentation.

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

  • A professional, discreet and calm approach.

  • Good written communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear letters and emails.

  • The ability to work independently and manage priorities across a 3\-day working week.

  • Experience in hospitality, hotels or luxury service environments would be highly desirable.

Working Pattern

This is a part\-time role, 4 days per week. Specific days can be discussed, although some flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the business.
