Millerstown Creche is a warm and nurturing environment for young children, located in Kilcock, Co Meath. We are currently seeking a reliable and organised HR Administrator to join our team. If you have experience in HR, and payroll experience is an advantage, we would love to hear from you.

The expected start date for this role is 13th July 2026\.

About the Role:
As the HR/Administrator at Millerstown Creche, you will play a key role in supporting the day\-to\-day operations of the Creche, managing employee records, assisting with payroll, and ensuring compliance with HR policies. You will work closely with our management team to help foster a positive and efficient working environment for our staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain employee records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up\-to\-date

  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding new employees

  • Oversee employee leave requests, attendance, and performance reviews

  • Process payroll on a monthly basis, ensuring all wages, deductions, and benefits are accurately calculated (experience with payroll is an advantage)

  • Assist in managing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements

  • Support staff with HR\-related queries and concerns

  • Help organise and coordinate training and development programs for staff

  • Manage office supplies and assist in general administrative tasks as needed

  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

  • Support the management team with other HR\-related projects and initiatives

  • Other ad hoc duties

Requirements


  • Previous experience in an HR or administrative role

  • Payroll experience is desirable

  • Strong organisational and time\-management skills

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team

  • Knowledge of HR best practices and employment legislation

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information

  • Proficient in MS Office

  • A positive and approachable attitude, with a passion for supporting staff and creating a great working environment

  • 4 day working week (no weekends)
