Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail\-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee the in\-house housekeeping operations within our hospitality environment. This role is vital in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, guest comfort, and operational efficiency. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, coordinate daily cleaning activities, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to excellence. Your leadership will directly influence guest satisfaction and the overall reputation of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back\-of\-house spaces.
- Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping staff to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules, checklists, and quality control procedures to maintain consistent service delivery.
- Manage inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring cost\-effective usage and timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness standards, address deficiencies promptly, and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with other departments to accommodate special requests and ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, staff schedules, and maintenance issues for reporting purposes.
- Proven experience in hotel or hospitality housekeeping management or janitorial services.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team in a fast\-paced environment.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety protocols, and sanitation standards relevant to hospitality settings.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and problem\-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations is highly desirable.
Pay: £14\.05 per hour
Expected hours: 25\.0 – 35\.0 per week
