Located in the Cotswold, Cowley Manor is one of the most famous buildings in the country. The luxury boutique hotel is composed of 36 rooms, a bar and a restaurant along with an incredible terrace, fantastic grounds and a stunning C\-Side Spa.

Job: Linen Porter at Cowley Manor

Based in: Cowley, Cheltenham

Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Hours: Part time and Full time up to 40hrs available. We can be flexible with hours between 8am and 11pm consisting of an 8hr shift. We will consider a job share for this role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The main purpose of this role is to carry out the moving, storage and monitoring of housekeeping stock. Task may include but are not limited to;

• Distributing laundry and other deliveries to correct storage areas and ensure par levels are maintained.


• Handle the removal of used laundry according to company procedures.


• Receive all goods in including laundry and consumable stock, ensuring all documentation is checked and completed as necessary.


• Process rejected laundry.


• Keep the linen room organised and tidy.


• Undertake laundry tasks in accordance with SOP’s.


• Report any technical issues, damages, and maintenance needs to the Housekeeping Manager.


• Perform cleaning and maintenance of all storage, corridors, and public areas, in accordance with the company’s standards.


• Support the Rooms team with the cleaning duties when needed.


• Assist in the moving of furniture.


• Follow the correct procedure for lost property.


• Comply to all health, safety, and hygiene rules.
